Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road??

To get away from the horrible Salmonella infested, hormone pumping, chicken farm! Due to the recent salmonella out break, eating eggs has never been more risky. Are you distrusting in your neighborhood grocers eggs? Do you fear for you family's safety wondering if any day they are going to turn belly up and DIE due to egg poisoning? Well, never fear, Wyatt's Salmonella-Free Eggs are here!!! That's right, a dozen eggs for 3 dolla. No where else can you get farm fresh eggs with the guarantee of no Salmonella!
It seems like just weeks ago Silas brought home these cute little chickies who cozied up in a box in the garage under a heat lamp. What a life. Now they are big, ugly, and crap all over our driveway. Some might ask, why do you put up with it? Here are a few reasons why:
#1  Wyatt loves to play with the chickens. He has named most of them 'Larry the Cabinet Guy'.

TI mean..we should capitalize
Honky Tonka Chicken
#2 They help with teaching responsibility... not that Wyatt changes the water, feeds them, cleans out the chicken coop or anything like that, but he does collect the eggs, and bring them to me.
#3 Great exercise. After chasing these chickens around for ten minutes Wyatt is ready for bed.
#4 Inspires creativity... thanks to the chicken deposits on the drive way.

In conclusion, I would like to invite you to partake in these delectible wonders of the world! If you don't they will truly go to waste, as we have them coming out of our ears.

Thank you chicken Jane.
Happy, free range chickens, make good eggs.

  3. You got a blog! Hooray! You are a brave woman to take on chickens...looks like Wyatt is in chicken heaven, though, with all of his Larry friends. :) He and Max are getting so old and they are SO cute.
